Welcome to Shermanwaters backpackers and working hostel, well we have moved to a new hostel attached to the Miriwinni hotel over looking beautiful Mount Bartle Frere 60km south of Cairns.

The new complex is freshly painted with new air conditioners in every dorm with own wash basins and remote television. B.B.Q style cooking facilities are available with all other appliences. Nellies Take away kitchen is also on site should you desire not to cook for yourself, ask Nellie or Sam about the backpacker specials.

Shermanwaters backpackers will soon be known as the Miriwinni hotel and working backpackers hostel. The hotel has a fully functional bar with daily happy hours for backpackers, eftpos and internet also available with notice.

The hostel has no hidden charges for transport to work or for laundry, you are also provided with a continental breakfast monday to friday with a free saturday BBQ lunch ( THIS IS INCLUSIVE IN WEEKLY RATE)
